We try not to think of ourselves as a consultancy. We aim to deliver high quality social research, engagement and facilitation tools to the clients who need our services most, and to the organisations actually doing good in their communities.
Who we are
Dr Jim Debowski
Research, Facilitation and Design
Jim has over a decade of research and consulting experience. He holds a doctorate in Anthropology and graduate certification in organisational risk management and resilience. He’s fascinated by the intersection between behavioural science, organisational design and community wellbeing.
Jim is driven by a commitment to improve how research and participation shape project design for community benefit. He’s spent years working on the ground with community based organisations - as a researcher, advisor and participant.
Prior to moving to the United States and establishing AntHill, Jim has advised global leaders in the social impact management space. An advocate for more sustainable resource communities and greater autonomy among social investment recipients, Jim has partnered with affected communities to enhance outcomes from some of Australia’s largest and most complex resource projects.
